Dancing Monday

*I hope you never lose your sense of wonder *You get your fill to eat but always keep that hunger *May you never take one single breath for granted *God forbid love ever leave you empty-handed *I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean *Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens *Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance *And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance *I hope you dance!--Lee Ann Womack¨

Pumpin and sesam crackers

These are carb free wich can be a nice change and SO easy to make. Simply put 1 dl each of pumkin seeds, sesamy seeds, sunflower seeds and linseeds (these are the most important ones since they will create the gel that holds the crackers togeather!) in a large bowl. Add enough water to cover and let sit over night. In the morning you should have a gel like paste.
Heat the oven to 125 degrees and pour the seeds to a clean baking tray with paper. With a spoon, make them flat enough to be crackers. Sprinkle with sea salt to taste. Bake 1 hour first and during the second hour, open the oven once every 15 min.
Let them cool of and split in pieces. Delish but very fragile. An elegant and home made snack just like that!

Happy Tuesday

What on earth happen to spring? I am a lover of all seasons and weathers, but sunshine makes us all happy. I adore notes like this to light up the grey Zürich days.

Creating Zen mornings

Mornings are for me the best time of my day. Its not for nothing that yogis invented the sun salutation - one should be up to greet the sun. Of course, sleep is vital for good health and I am not compromising on 8 hours of sleep unless I really have to - then again, this is something very individual. But with a set bed time routine, you will find that once you start getting out of bed in good time to prepair your day, its totally adictive.
My favorite health blog Healthy Crush, has made a great list of ways to making your mornings more Zen:

Dealing with a rainy Monday

A classical grey, rainy monday. Time to get back to reality for some, but for Zürich residences, today is a public day off! I was thinking, a lovely way to use this extra time would be some home SPA-ing?
Organic body care products are superiour to the body and our planet in many ways. In Switzerland, you can pick up the organic skin care line Welda in many places, for ex Coop.
Their bath products smells amazing! This one is all lemon-y!

Grannys chocolate easter cake

Hapiness is to eat home made choclate cake in the sun on your balcony! To make this, simply mix 500 gram of almond paste (the higher almond content the better!) with 5 eggs (add one egg at the time and whisk til creamy). Add to a form and bake ca 45 minutes in 175 degrees. Melt 175 grams of high quality dark chocolate and decorate the cake with that and fresh strawberries.

Sunday Love! Carpe Diem!
