Simple is best
Italian cooking is inspiring me so much! Especially when it keeps proving that simple is always the best. In this case, only a few simple ingredients were necessary to create a happiness moment for our first lunch of the trip - fresh vegetables, oily nice tuna and a perfect buffalo mozzarella.

Zurich Spots - Degenried Restaurant
A nice Zurich excursion is the area up by the famous hotel Dolder. With views and nice walks to offer, its a very good choice for a stop on a sunny Saturday like the one we just had.
Me and <3 drove up for some lunch and a walk before my yoga class. There is a little lovely swiss restaurant on Degenriederweg, indeed named Degenried (www.degenried.ch), that's definitely worth your time. I picked the Degenried salad with Parmesan, dried ham, pine nuts and dried apricots, a good pick! Yummy bread and yummy dressing too.

Juice Market
The graved salmon on zucchini pancake with sourcream is your best bet. Well worth its 29.50.
Also great for juices. Austinerstrasse 22 near Bahnhofstrasse. At lunchtime a reservation can be a good idea. Juice love!

Hiltl

For the best veggie food in town! And the best location, atmosphere and service!
This time I had the buffet with tofu salad, green beans with walnuts (they are just the best!), sellery salad, sundried tomatoes and loads of fresh spinach. Finished off with ther chai, delish and perfect for weeknights.

Tibits Seefeld
Might be needless to post this one, Hiltl and Tibits are well know veggie Zürich stars. After 1.5 hours of Asthanga yoga I picked up early dinner from their Seefeldt shop (Seefeltdstrasse 2). Extra plus that they are open on sundays. I gues this photo is not the best since its covered with rocket salad but had among other things the cranberry quinoa, roasted eggplants, guacamole, and most importantly their mushroom lasanga. It deservs a post of its own beyond yummy.
They also have great fresh juices and is my FAVORITE place for take outs. However, as soon as I get my own place, I will get busy cooking! Can't wait - I miss my blender!
Love, Sara
