Moving on...
Fixing, packing, doing sun salutations, getting organized, listening to Amos Lee...and moving to Zürich tomorrow! Time for a new adventure! Amazing song below:
Swedish hard-bread "Knäckebröd"
This summer I had alot of time for things and projects you don't normally find. One of them was baking hard-bread, one of my snack and weekend-breakfast favorites. After trying several recipes this one is by far the best, from Annas Food, a very classical swedish cookbook that I just love. It was very easy to make and they are superyummy and good for you. 100% homemade so you always know exactlly what you give to your body.
For about 20, follow the recipie below:
50 grams of yeast
5 dl of water (room temeperature)
1/2 tablespoon of salt
1/2 kg (one liter) of rye flower (organic)
2 dl of all purpose flour
Mix yeast and water. Add the rest of the ingredients. Mix togeather (preferably in a Kitchen Aid or similar). Leave overnight. The next day, split into 20 pieces and use a rolling pin to form thin round breads. They are only supposed to be 1-2 mm thick! Use a fork to "pickle" them. If you want, you can sprinkle them with any type of seed that you want.
Bake off 10-15 minutes in 250 c degrees. Voila! Enjoy!
Great breakfasts
So I am back from a just amazing birthday weekend in Berlin with my family. Lovely! However not very zen. Time to get back on track. Starting already at breakfast time. I looove green smoothies and think they are an amazing way to add more greens to your diet. However, since I am normally very hungry in the mornings, I tend not to have them for breakfast. Instead, in true swedish spirit, I always start the day with some oatmeal, ecological yoghurt, fresh berries if avaliable and some nuts or seeds (in this case pumpkin seeds, great for you since they contain so much zink). And a large cup of green tea. Yummy.
But back to the green smoothies. Regardless if you have them for breakfast, snack or a light dinner, they are so good for you. The video clip below is a great introduction on green smoothies and juices by 2 of my favorites Tara Stiles and Kris Carr (writer of the Crazy Sexy Diet):

The Crazy Sexy Diet
This book is just amazing no matter if you choose to adapt the whole vegan concept or not. Kris Carr's story is so inpiering! Batteling cancer with top of the line nutrition and a mindset stronger than steel. Inspiering! I had forgott about this book but picked it up along with the rest of my belongings in Hong Kong. I really recommend it to everyone for a very inspiering story.
The book also contains a 21 day cleanse that contains 1 affirmation a day. I am not in the mood for a all vegan green cleanse but the affirmations are great. First one: I am capable, confident, intelligent, resilient and in charge. Health and happiness are my birthrights and I accept with gratitude.

Lulu Lemon
While in Hong Kong I discovered Lulu Lemon, an athletic wear unlike any other. Just look at their manifesto above! (click for a larger image) In addition to a great brand philosophy, their clothes are just the best. You can slip into anything, even a simple pair of tights and just look and feel fab. I seriously doubt that I will ever buy any other brand. Love love love it!
www.lululemon.com is a great way to get a hold of their stuff from Europe. Also with a nice blog, Q&A on yoga and other inspiering material.
Airyoga Zürich
So many practical things to arrange when moving to a new city. I am starting my new job September first and still needs to book both flight ticket and find accomendation. A new city also means that I need to find a new yogastudio. By recommendation I have heard that Airyoga is supposed to be among the best ones in the city? They have a trial package, 3 classes for CHF 75 that I will get started on as soon as I get down to Zürich. Exciting! Also, they are arranging different workshops that I am really looking forward to try.
September 3d is my first saturday in Zürich and then Petri Räisenen is hosting an Asthanga Yoga Workshop. Its fully booked but I am on the waiting list. Fingers crossed!

A new chapter and a new blog
I am leaving my amazing adventure in Hong Kong and moving to Zürich.
Oh so sentimental but beyond happy. Hong Kong gave me the time of my life, amazing friends for life, and so much wisdom. Made me grow, laugh and love. However, its time for a new chapter. A new job. A new city. New experiences and moments. And a new blog. Hope to share my journey with focus on yoga, healthy food, hiking, travelling and living here. Love, Sara
